now i get it!

light narrates his book in a friendly, engaging way. i always felt drawn to meditation but when i tried it, i felt like i was basically just sitting with my eyes closed. following the EASY method as described works! i am actually meditating now, had a couple of insights and am sleeping so much better.
i didnt agree with the exchange principle, but everything else he said just hit a chord with me - especially the bit about mindfulness being selective focus, and you can go so much further into an experience than that - it just made me look at things differently.
if you are new to meditation or do not feel you are getting very far, then this is the book for you.

Great book , especially for beginners .

I loved this book , and I am not a beginner meditator, so much so I have registered on the website. Light has very clear , easy to understand instructions on how to start and how to continue your meditation journey , brilliantly narrated , I advise anybody who is thinking about meditation to give this book a chance .

A really great way to learn to meditate.

This was a blessing as I was struggling with my meditation and about to give up. Light Watkins makes it really easy to get a new perspective on how important it is to meditate but in the right way. 👍

Excellent Audio Book

Really enjoyed this audio book. As a beginner meditator it was easy to follow and practice. I made written notes throughout the book because it’s much more difficult to highlight or re-read specific points without a physical copy. A combination of both would probably be ideal.

So much to learn, so much to find out how to meditate explained simply on how to, why to and when to. Just from listening to this perfect book and letting the simple truths sink in, I am now getting so much more happiness and contentment throughout every day down all the remainder of my blissful life.

Best meditation guide I have come across

This book was the introduction to meditation that I really needed. It really is amazing how quickly, meditating using the easy approach, yields results. I sleep better, feel more mentally alert and am much more capable of giving love...all after just 6 weeks.

Life changing practice

If everyone could learn and implement the ideas in this book the world would certainly be a better place.
I listened to this after I had already begun the Ziva technique by Emily Fletcher, and found this book to be a great compliment to my practice. It explains things in a different way to aid understanding, both books work very well together.

Changed my Meditation. 100% yes! Read it!

I always knew that I wanted to do meditation but it felt so tedious and every time I would go to sit down and meditate I would be worried that I wouldn’t do it right, I didn’t have the right body position, or I didn’t have enough time or or or or or.... since reading this book I have been meditating consistently and without judging each individual meditation I have noticed an overall difference in my mood and outlook outside of my meditations. Another thing I really loved about the book is it gives me a lot of background/knowledge on the brain and why certain things in meditation work or cause you to overthink things. All in all it is made my meditation experience so much more enjoyable and something that I feel confident in now. If you’re curious about meditation I would 100% recommend reading this book!!

Great place to start for beginning meditators

Being a daily meditator and using this technique for almost three years, I feel like my practice is enriched from listening to this book. I also tell people frequently about the benefits of meditating, but can't really explain my practice because it can't be learned from a book. Light Watkins does a wonderful job of teaching about the technique as well as gives a simple meditation to get people started, but then also explains why they need to explore further and find a teacher to truly get the most out of the practice. Happy meditating, future readers, and hope you experience "Bliss More" after reading this great book!

Helpful

I love this book. His instructions on proper meditating are as close to having live lessons with him. The beauty is, you can relisten to the instruction part as often as you have to. Very helpful for me.

Life-Changing

This book is incredible. I started listening to this because acupuncturist recommended it sure to my high stress job. After listening to this book and implementing his techniques, my stress levels (and heartburn and acid reflux) lowered and eventually disappeared. It's a simple method but takes dedication, totally worth it. Thanks for sharing your gift Light!

Best Book on meditation I’ve ever read/listened to

Having been an on/off meditator for decades, this book cleared up many misconceptions I’d had about the reasons for and process of meditating. Within the first couple days of following the authors guidelines I found a new level of contentment,optimism and yes bliss....and an unprecedented motivation to do the practice not just every day, but twice a day. Can’t recommend enough, or give enough copies to others. Thank you Light Watkins.

Inspirational and helpful!

I had listened to a podcast where Light Watkins was interviewed. I was inspired by him to start a meditation practice, but I did not know how to begin. This book, along with Light’s book The Inner Gym, were instrumental in getting me started with a successful meditation practice. My husband and I are now 3 weeks in on a daily meditation practice, and we are already noticing the positive effects that it is having on our lives and in each other. I highly recommend this book!

All I can say is “Wow”…this book made me want to meditate more.

I’ve used a couple meditation apps periodically/intermittently for about a year…taken a few of their courses…but I just haven’t had a strong desire to meditate, let alone twice a day.

I immediately started meditating twice a day (10 - 20 min each session) after I started listening to this book.

Before I started listening to Bliss More, I thought, “I should meditate”…now it’s “I get to meditate”.

I was always wondering/concerned if I was “doing it right”…now I am not concerned whether I’m doing it “correctly”…I use the “EASY” method taught in this book.

Even though I listened to Bliss More the first weekend…I also signed up for Light’s free 21 day meditation challenge (available to those that purchased the audio or book - so it’s not totally free)…which guides you step by step through the Bliss More book over 21 days…for me, it’s a very worthwhile guide/review that reinforces what is taught in the book.

This audio book is the best meditation related purchase I’ve ever made.

I’ve even started experiencing happier more blissful days (I wasn’t expecting this after only a few weeks of consistently meditating).

Not for anyone who has enjoyed meditation

if you have ever loved meditation and found it blissful, this book is not for you.
if you have never meditated or have found it hard, this is probably fantastic.

Life changing

Before I bought this book, I’ve tried other types of meditation and subscribed to many different apps for many years. But meditation was still something I wished I could do or something I wished could help with the general anxiousness or fear of life I felt daily.

After reading/listening to this book and following Light’s 21 days meditation challenge (that I stretched to 90 days and months), I found myself having a gap between emotions and my thought process. I found myself generally calmer and not so fearful of life. The change was so subtle but was enough to believe the method taught in the book works!

If you’ve been curious about meditation, get this book. Light addressed a lot of questions I had about meditation but didn’t know who to ask. Having those questions answered as I start the practice was very helpful.

Method taught is also a super easy method that can be done by anyone and at almost anytime (not whilst driving or working heavy machinery).

Overall an excellent self-help book. Life changing is an understatement.
