I really enjoyed this book. The details were excellent. This book took me on a wonderful adventure. The main character is a young child when she meets a fae prince. She never forgets about him. Merisande has become a very strong young woman who loves her family. When she is older she thinks she has no choice but to run and find her fae prince to keep her freedom. Only where she is taken to is not what she thought it would be. Avry comes to find her.
The narrator was excellent. I can’t wait to start the next book in the series.. White Bird

Fear not ! It was a bit slow to start but once you got into the body of the story it really grips your interest. I loved the small moral tales with in the story. I look forward to starting the next book in the series and learning how the characters and stories evolve.

Brilliant fantasy story, the story had me hooked from the beginning. The narrator made the characters come to life and really enhanced the book. I am looking forward to listening to part 2

A book full of brilliant characters, intrigue, knights ... damsels in need of saving,danger and action. The Fey world was vivid in its description, the narrator did a fantastic job with clearly defined voices for the characters, the only downside was the amount of whispering which became a little tiresome.
