Follow an unfortunate soul who has been thrown into a fantasy world with nothing. He is quickly railroaded into joining the Legion and has to develop under harsh conditions while slowly discovering his potential power.

I'm very particular about what i read and listen to. great story, in depth, thought out. narrator has a good voice to listen to. in 10 days I've listen to all 4 book and I'm in serious need fof the 5th

It is a good, slightly brutal journey through a fantasy world with heavy influence from ancient Rome. Dude from earth gets isekaied into roman-style empire and forced into a legion contract. Has to train hard to survive and grow stronger.

Just a superb litrpg book. Excellent writing and a breah of fresh air for the genre. My only regret is not reading it sooner!

I had zero expectations when i bought this, just wanted something new. I would said i listen to a Litrpg audiobook every week at least. Its my favourite genre. I listened to all 3 of these books in one week. I found myself sitting in my driveway after getting home from work just to hear the end of the chapter. Its very stats light but just enough to hold the “stranger in a strange world”. The MC is believable and not some OP chosen one, its closer to band of brothers as he struggles to adjust to his new world. He is powerful but always seems to be struggling to cope, he isnt the wildly cocky and instantly appropriate to the world hero i have sort of gotten bored of. I am devastated book 4 isnt out yet!

This series has been put up in the elite status with Life reset, portal to nova roma, path of the shaman etc. if the author ever reads this know that i am dying for the next boom!
