About this listen

The politics of the Telhian Empire are on display as Eryk and the company navigates the dangers within the Empire. The wayward hero thinks he is going to have time to relax after the harrowing experience in Macha. Things are never that simple as Eryk continues to grow and mature as a soldier.

The biggest problem I have is with some scenes that are unnecessary and with ill-fitting interludes that literally spell out things about side characters, I think those could have been done better.

loved the first two books. Why why why change narrator? completely put me off now as it's not the same. I wont be getting the rest of the series, due to this. I will be more vigilant of this in future.
