The narrators absolutely smash this and even though it’s a lot and I mean a lot of sadness and pain, you love them especially the brothers. I’m just waiting for Monty’s reappearance with unease and I have got the second book and look forward to listening to the final two but will take a little break in the form of god of fury or kiss the villain which always make me smile as I fear this series will get sadder before it gets happier. X

Wow this book! This has been one of those books that I’ve loved so much and had to immediately listen to the audiobook and im so glad I did. The narrators really brought this story and the characters to life in a way I never expected. So much emotion went into this and I could really hear it!

The audio for me, made the story even more loveable, even more emotional. I cried a lot… but ultimately this is a story that will stay with you, engrained into your soul….

The narrators did a fantastic job, and this is one of my favourite audio listens ever….
We had love, hurt, betrayal, angst, suspense, mystery…. SPICE. A great mixture of everything dark romance. I I need more, just give me more! Can’t wait for the other audios!

This book is DARK, do not let the beautiful front covers fool you. Do not take the TW’s lightly. Your mental health matters.

I didn’t think I could love this story even more, and the audio just proved I could.

I was ... not prepared.
I have only a couple books which I classify in my head as "the best books I would never recommend" and I've just added to that shelf. That's all I'll say about the story.
What I will say more about, though, are the narrators. dive of the absolute, top-shelf, talented narration I've had the pleasure to listen to.
If you regard trigger warning pages as recipes for a good time - think twice with this one. But if you think twice, again, and once more for good measure and *still* want this book, you won't be disappointed. Although you'll likely need a responsible adult to reassure you the world still has some good in it

Pam Godwin excels at exploring the fragile space between fear and longing, crafting characters who feel broken, dangerous, and achingly human. The atmosphere is thick with suspense, the romance burns slow and intense, and the emotional payoff hits hard. This is not a safe love story—but it is a powerful one.
