There’s a reason Knox doesn’t do complications, or high-maintenance women, especially not the romantic ones. But, since Naomi’s life imploded right in front of him, the least he can do is help her out of her jam. And just as soon as she stops getting into new trouble, he can leave her alone, and get back to his peaceful, solitary life.
At least, that’s the plan, until the trouble turns to real danger.

The characters so well rounded, with great distinct personalities.
The character development was written well.
I especially enjoyed the storyline about Naomi on the worst day if her life, is robbed and left with an 11 year old niece who she never even knew she existed. She finds herself in a small town, where everyone knows each others business. Following Naomi as she adjusts to this new life and mess left to her by her good for nothing twin sister, who the townsfolk can't stand and get a bit muddled when meeting Naomi.
I really enjoyed this read, the chemistry and tension were chef's kiss.
I need to read more books by this author
and the narrators were cast perfectly!
