About this listen

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Faith by Lesley Pearse, read by Tracy Wiles.

Scotland, 1995. On the hills of Cornton Vale Prison.

She was convicted of killing her best friend . . .

Laura Brannigan has been put away for murder. She insists that she didn't kill Jackie. But her search for true justice seems futile. Then she receives a letter that takes her back to her youth and the memory of an old love, Stuart . . .

Twenty years ago was a heady time for Laura: she'd escaped an abusive home, and together with Jackie they had made a fresh start. They had sworn to be sisters for ever.

What could have possibly gone so wrong? And why is Stuart writing to her now? Does he believe Laura's innocent and can he help free her from prison . . . and her past?

Lesley Pearse, the bestselling author of Dead to Me and Without a Trace, explores a web of thrilling secrets and injustices in the gripping novel Faith. Susan Lewis fans will love Lesley Pearse.

I loved this book - I was so wrapped up in the story I found myself telling the characters off out loud - not great when you are walking with headphones on...you get some strange looks _ I have to applaud the narrator also - her Scottish accent was amazing both male and female characters. A great lsiten and I shall miss the characters....I have listened to almost all of Lesley's books and loved 90% of them but this one stood out to me....well done and please keep them coming..

Another great book by this author. Twists and turns and lots of emotions lead to a great mix and a super story.

I was wary for most of the book expecting a horrendous twist or betrayal. I’m getting lame in my old age and have had to give up on a few books because I was traumatised by the twists. This was totally worth it and I found something of myself in the story. I am pushed to seek out that love that could be but didn’t really appreciate, the love and friendship in this book had left me wanting to reconnect with friends and family and to actually be a part of something.
I really enjoyed this rollercoaster ride and I will listen to it again once I recover from the twists and the raw emotions.
The narrator was excellent too and I found myself transported with each character and personality. Loved it!

I was truly immersed
