long winded ending. plot rather sordid and somewhat unrealistic but entertaining enough. a few subplots embedded within.

If you want a good book for your commute to work or just a general good crime thriller this is perfect. Get a little crazy at the end but had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through! I would not recommend it to anyone with kids, I've only got a nephew and it had me terrified. Every parents worst nightmare! But an amazing gripping true to life story! 10/10 would recommend ! Really hope they make it into a movie!

Good story with more twists than a ride on the Waltzer. only thing that got on my nerves was the way the narrator kept calling the Scenes Of Crime Officers Sew Cos and not Sock Os.

Great story full of twists and turns. Loved the different points of view and the back story of the Detective (which I presume runs through other books) I’ll definitely read more from these authors. I got this book as it had audible narration - handy for me to listen to while I’m doing jobs around the house - HOWEVER I had to switch to reading the book on my kindle as I just didn’t like the narration at all!!! Once I actually started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. My advice is if you are struggling with the audio version don’t give up!!! It’s a great book just switch to reading it yourself.
