The story was great, I only wished it was longer. I can't wait to listen to the others when they are released.
As for the narration, it was perfect, his voice suited Dan down to a T. His voice was clearly spoken and wasn't in the slightest irritating.

Well done Curt for the perfect narration, I hope you narate the other books when they are released!

I have read this book and thought why not get the audio book. what a mistake. The story isn't great but is fun and entertaining but the performance of this story is quite irritating, I'm not sure if it is me but I found the tone or accent, but I almost switched off.

Great book 🙂 the character is kind of a dumbass but he's a likable one and a badass to boot. The system is cool and the characters well done. Fun, violence, and chocolate. Go read/listen to it!

mostly okay setting, but the main character is both unbelievably stupid and unlikable.
this isn't helped by the constant jokes about nerds, neckbeards and other degrading of gamers.

went over the top in an otherwise enjoyable story.
