The end of the era of humanity was marked by the appearance of the World Dungeon and the system of power it provided. No one gained more power than the tyrant known as the Black Seraph, the Angel of Genocide. Surviving at the expense of the rest of humanity, Seraph was able to complete the World Dungeon upon reaching the Altar of the End. A hollow victory, as he was cursed by the spirit of the dungeon for ruthlessly focusing on his empowerment.

Another garbage book
So, this guy has unlimited lives and can't be killed it seems, as he has been killed then just respawning again and again. This is just trash, if he could at least die permanently it would be great, but having him die and come back, then die and come back over and over is just so bad. It gives him no consequences for his poor actions and he even says it wow. This author must know he's selling a pile of shit to people lol as he also makes mention of that as well. please just give me my money back.

A great new LITRPG series by a phenomenal author
I happen to greatly enjoy Locke’s books so finding a new series with him is awesome. Our scenario is post apocalypse. Everyone has new powers, stats and the opportunity to advance in this new society. The cost? Killing others. And trying not to die yourself. Unless you are like the mc who is a respawner. Great action, great characters. The narration is spot on. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Fun story, doesn't take itself seriously.
I've now read this and listened to the audiobook. This is a system apocalypse style book which is right in line with my taste but it has some differences like re-spawns. The rules don't make a ton of sense as of finishing the first novel as everyone seems to be following different ones but it makes up for that by painting a good picture. The main character will be either a hit or miss with readers he was a hit with me and the novel enjoys poking fun at a few stereotypes which I found amusing. The narrator did a well enough job bringing the book to life. Overall it's a fun read or listen for a few hours and if you like system apocalypse style stories you will probably enjoy this.

Only got this for the Amizon Mimic meme.
And that was only 20 minutes of this bad book.
Narrator can't even say skull right and the way he pronounces most other things made me wince.
If you told me this was a 15 year old's first book I would say good start work on it a little more but this is just a rambling stalling for word count blend of things you've seen online when in doubt just look through reddit and just copy what you see there huh Authors?

awesome but too short
Man the main character is a tool of the highest proportions, He's pretty dumb and kind of unlikable but the book and mc himself are quite aware of his issues. The mc gets super lucky with his start but makes completely terrible decisions and is continually getting wrecked for his own stupidity.
good narration, the comedy is pretty good, overall quite fun.
however
I really hope Wolfe only does this with their first books in a series to gage interest. because so far both series from them I have listened to have been excellent.I saw there will also be a dungeon core from them soon as well, and I expect that will also be awesome.
I 5* recommend the content of this book, but I have a problem recommending spending a credit on a book this short.

Solid start to a new series
This book is a good litrpg where the MC understands he is making stupid choices but towards the end of the book he starts to correct them showing character development and the way the book is it opens up to city development and world development in the next book. I’m excited to see where this goes.
