Wayne Adams is originally from the Longview Texas area. He graduated from Hallsville High School in 1968. In that same year he began attending East Texas State University and graduated in 1972. In 1972 he enlisted in the United States Army and served until 1986. In 1989 he was employed as a Correctional Officer at Southern Correctional Institute at Troy, North Carolina. He retired in 2014. He is now living in Melissa, Texas with his wife Judy.
