Trevor Wain is a UK paramedic with more than a decade of frontline experience, now turning real life into stories that range from darkly funny paramedic diaries to imaginative children’s adventures. A self-confessed dyslexic paramedic, Trevor jokes that he only signed up to university because he thought the course said paralytic. Three years partying sounded great—bloody dyslexia had done him again. From laugh-out-loud tales of emergency calls to heartwarming children’s books, Trevor’s writing is as varied as the patients he meets on shift. With plenty more projects planned, he’s only just getting started. When not writing or working on ambulances, Trevor is busy running Project W.A.I.N., an emergency drone initiative delivering life-saving equipment to hard-to-reach areas. He’s also a proud dad, gadget enthusiast, and strong believer that stories—whether serious or silly—can make a real difference.
