Tamara Shoemaker lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with her husband, Tim, and three teenagers who are never not hungry. During the days, she teaches middle schoolers to revel in stories, and in the evening she reads and writes her own. She survives, naturally, on coffee and whatever chocolate she is able to hide from the hungry teenagers. The best seat in Tamara’s house is by the window where she can see the treetops brush the many-hued sky. Her days are full, her heart is overflowing, her family is precious, and her God is worthy to be praised for all He has done.
