Swathi Nair is an author and screenwriter from Kerala, India. She entered the literary world at the age of 18 with Argans, her debut novel, which was initially self-published before being acquired for traditional publication by Booksthakam. The book gained recognition among young readers, featured on Amazon India's Action & Adventure bestseller list, and received coverage in publications including The Indian Express and Manorama, as well as on Club FM. It was later featured on Amazon Prime Reading and reached bestseller charts in Australia.

Swathi subsequently ventured into screenwriting, completing two Malayalam screenplays that are currently in development. Her experience writing for the screen also inspired her to explore fiction in her mother tongue, leading to Ponnutthaayi, her first Malayalam novel, published under Narayam, Booksthakam's Malayalam imprint. The book was distributed across 20 countries.

She is also the Lead Writer at Mad Dreams Private Limited, a comic publishing venture where she works on developing original fictional universes and stories.

Her work spans fiction, screenwriting, and comics, with a continuing interest in exploring stories across different formats and languages.
