Rick Burton is the David B. Falk Professor of Sport Management at Syracuse University and an honorary professor at the University of Queensland. He is also the author or co-author of numerous books. He is the former Commissioner of the Australian National Basketball League and Chief Marketing Officer for the U.S. Olympic Committee during the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics. He is a regular contributor to Sports Business Journal (with Norm O'Reilly) and Sportico.
