Michael Golden is a national-award winning journalist, serial social entrepreneur and the author of four books — including the international bestseller ETHICAL TRIBING. His latest anthology, STAYING ALIVE, was released in January of 2025.

Michael is passionate about discovering hidden truths and using storytelling to accelerate educational achievement and elevate quality journalism. He is a cofounder of:

OMD is a 360-degree scholarship support program that has empowered thousands of under-resourced community college students to achieve their associate degrees and launch careers.

Michael has also served as a communications strategist on political races for the White House, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and Mayor of Chicago. His acclaimed nonpartisan book, Unlock Congress, is taught at several universities and led to Michael’s service as a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress and the Adlai Stevenson Center on Democracy.
