He's written extensively too: for British broadsheets including the Guardian and the Independent, a London guidebook for 'people who don't like guidebooks' and the texts for Stephen Ellcock's much-admired trawl through England's psychic landscape, England on Fire. Mat also composes music for TV and stage shows.
