Mark Cunnington, born in Hastings 1959, started off writing articles in the 1980s for magazines associated with his lifelong passion for angling. Following on from these pieces and the occasional travel article for national newspapers, Mark wrote his first novel, The Syndicate, which was published in 1999. This book was followed over time by six others and these seven novels completed The Syndicate Series Volume 1. Published in 2014 and inspired by events in his own life and family history, Mark next wrote The Fear. Black Mirror Cult, which started off The Syndicate Series Volume 2, was published in September 2016 and in 2021, Mark published Strait Sets - a dark, comic love story - a book which showcased his satirical writing. Mark's most recent book, The Italian's Job, was published in 2022, the second installment of The Syndicate Series Volume 2. In April 2025, Mark published his first audiobook, when he narrated, The Syndicate, and released it via Audible. Currently he is recording The Syndicate (R.I.P.) Part II for release in early 2026.
