It’s about ten men slipping down the black slope of human nature while trying to catch those carp. It’s about friends dividing into warring factions, about fraud, cheating, bait burglary and even adultery. It's also one of the funniest books out there.

Couldn’t stop listening. The whole book was so believable and could really see this whole thing happening in any local syndicate. The storytelling was so well done, character development was brilliant and I felt like I was with Williams and Rambo on that final Saturday. Perfection!

After reading all the books so far published, I have enjoyed listening from the beginning, it’s handy as you can get on with other things or just walking around while listening. Hopefully the 2nd part will get released.

Read this originally back in the 90s. Fantastic story in an even better series. Hopefully the rest are not far behind .

Can we please have the rest of your books in this format? Thoroughly enjoyable! I lost 80% of my vision about a year ago, after listening to this I did purchase the kindle version of the second book but sadly my eyes aren't up to it.
