Lili Wright is author of DANCING WITH THE TIGER, a literary thriller set in Mexico, and the travel memoir, LEARNING TO FLOAT. Her essays and journalism have appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek, The Chicago Tribune, Down East, and many other publications. Lili Wright worked as a reporter for 10 years before earning her MFA at Columbia University. During her many trips to Mexico, she has studied Spanish, lived with Mexican families, worked as a journalist, visited ghost towns, watched dancing tigers parade down the streets, and started her own mask collection. A professor of English at DePauw University, she lives in Greencastle, Indiana, with her husband and two children in a yellow Victorian that always needs work.
