L. Gene Brown

L. Gene Brown

L. Gene Brown came into this life—was born, raised, and educated, to put it plainer—in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduation, from Manual Vocational High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, along with his best friend, where he served 3 years. . .with 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. After a brief stint as a civilian—a 9 month break—he reenlisted. This time in the U.S. Air Force, a 15 year period that allowed him to see much of the world. L.G. has always had a great and undying love for science fiction and fantasy, going back beyond the historic arrival of Gene Roddenberry’s original Star Trek vision to several now classic films and the writings of, among many others, Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, L. Frank Baum, Lewis Carroll, Rod Serling, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, Kurt Vonnegut, Harlan Ellison, and Robert Heinlein. It has always been his dream to one day become a published sci-fi writer, which he has recently accomplished with a pair of amazing women: L. Ann and Kathleen McClure. L. Gene currently resides in Southern Oregon, the city of Central Point and is currently working on a number of solo projects.
