British born, Hannah originally moved to Los Angeles to pursue screenwriting. She has been an obituary reporter, antique dealer, private jet flight attendant and Hollywood story analyst. She teaches mystery writing workshops for the UCLA Writers' Extension Program via Zoom, and has served on numerous judging committees for Mystery Writers of America. After twenty-five years living on the West Coast, Hannah returned to the UK where she shares her life with two crazy Hungarian Vizslas. Set on a crumbling English country house estate, the books aren’t just about solving the mysteries. Hannah wanted to highlight the fading glory of these grand old houses and the struggles to keep them afloat. The series also explores the intricacies of mother-daughter relationships. The Vicky Hill Mysteries star a young reporter who escaped to a sleepy English market town when her parents went on the run for armed robbery. Stuck writing the obituary column, Vicky Hill craves adventure and is determined to snag a front-page scoop—the juicier the better. Each book introduces a traditional, albeit eccentric, British custom. Snail racing? Worm charming? Who knew! In another life, Hannah WAS an obituary reporter for a small weekly newspaper ...
