Frederick N. Lukash, MD, spent more than four decades as a nationally recognized surgeon before turning his passion for storytelling into fiction. Drawing from a lifetime in medicine, he writes medical thrillers that combine authentic clinical detail, compelling suspense, and thought-provoking ethical dilemmas. His debut novel, The Hypocritical Oath, is set in post-Katrina New Orleans and explores the fine line between mercy and murder. Dr. Lukash is a graduate of Tulane University and Tulane University School of Medicine. He continues to draw inspiration from his medical career while crafting stories that entertain, challenge, and stay with readers long after the final page.
