Duncan Starr-Boltt is a happiness and inner peace coach who bridges the gap between high achievement and contentment. As a world record holder and former business owner, he understands firsthand the challenges of finding balance in a success-driven world. For over twenty years, Duncan has delved deep into the study of happiness and inner peace, exploring everything from mindfulness and yoga to Buddhism and modern coaching techniques. His journey has taken him to India, where he spent time studying studying yoga, meditation and more. His unique perspective comes from combining Eastern wisdom with Western understanding—having grown up discussing neuroscience with his father, a brain expert, while also immersing himself in the ancient practices of yoga and meditation. Drawing from his twelve years of running a successful gym and working as a personal trainer, Duncan witnessed how many high achievers struggled to find peace outside their work. This observation, coupled with his own experience of being unable to relax despite outward success, led him on a journey to discover a simpler, more effective approach to happiness. "In the West, we often try to fix the mind," Duncan explains. "In the East, they teach you that you are not the mind. This simple shift in perspective changes everything." Today, Duncan divides his time between the peaceful shores of Crete, where he lives with his wife and their golden retriever, Louie, and summers in Cambridge.
