Denise Montgomery is an award-winning author, educator, speaker, and literacy advocate whose stories explore resilience, faith, justice, and the extraordinary strength found in ordinary people. Whether writing psychological suspense, historical fiction, children's literature, or inspirational reflections, she creates compelling characters who face life's greatest challenges with courage and determination.

She is the author of the Into the Blind psychological suspense series, including The Blind Spot, Blind Betrayal, and Blind Ambition, as well as the award-winning historical novel It's Not Supposed to Be Like This and I Want to Go, stories that illuminate overlooked moments in American history through unforgettable characters. Her growing body of work also includes children's books and Front Porch Wisdom, a collection of inspirational reflections drawn from everyday life.

With more than twenty-five years of experience in adult education, GED instruction, and teaching English language learners, Denise has dedicated her career to helping others discover the transformative power of literacy. She is the founder and president of 3 Leaf Literacy Leadership and Learning Institute, a nonprofit organization committed to expanding educational opportunities and empowering individuals through literacy, digital skills, and lifelong learning.
