Award-winning author C.I. Chevron writes stories where folklore, fantasy, fairy tales, and adventure collide. She is the author of the completed four-book, steampunk, fractured fairy tale series, "Mutants and Modifieds" and the three-book urban fantasy series "Of Unicorns, Reapers, and Witches". Her works include "Metal and Bone", "Cogs and Fur", "An Odd Summoning", "Sibling Rivalry", "Unsealed", "Beyond the Stars", and "Four Days to Fusion". From steampunk princesses to reapers, witches, and mythical creatures, her stories blend fantasy, folklore, and adventure with twists readers rarely see coming.

She is an active member of Northeast Texas Writers' Organization (NETWO) and a founding member of a weekly critique group that has spent more than eleven years helping writers sharpen their craft. Part workshop, part brainstorming session, and part friendly cage match, the group continues to challenge its members to take good stories and make them unforgettable.

When she isn't writing, C.I. splits her time between coaching volleyball, officiating matches, photographing East Texas wildlife and landscapes, tending bees, and caring for the animals on her family farm. The rest of the time, she's usually working on her next book and wondering how much trouble she can get her characters into before readers revolt.
