With over a decade of experience in HR and talent acquisition, Ariel has spent his career on both sides of the hiring table—negotiating offers on behalf of companies and later coaching candidates who didn’t realize their true worth. He’s worked with fast-growing startups and major tech companies, gaining a firsthand look at how compensation decisions are really made. In his books, Ariel shares practical, battle-tested strategies to help readers confidently ask for more—whether it’s their first job or a six-figure promotion. His mission is to make negotiation feel less intimidating and more empowering for everyone, especially those who’ve been told to “just be grateful” for the offer. Ariel grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and now lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, daughter, and a very opinionated golden retriever.
