I'm sorry to the narrator, but there wasn't enough heart in the story telling for my liking. I've read the books, and watched the Passionflix series, so thought I delve into Audiobook. Wish I hadn't.

I found the beginning slow without much character development of the female protagonist, so taking a while to create the spark to fire up the story. But once that spark arrived the pace accelerated and the steamy scenes felt more believable and authentic for the characters. I wasn’t intending on reading the second book but the ending didn’t give me any choice, it left me wanting to find out what happens.

As I loved the Crossfire series by Sylvia Day, this series was recommended as something similar, so I thought I'd take the plunge to see what the fuss was about.

I started by watching the series on Passionflix who have done a good job and then to my horror they changed actors in series 2!

Basically it's about Rylee, a social worker, who falls out of a locked room into the arms of Colton, a dashing race car driver, and they have an instant attraction which they can't resist.

The chemistry and sexual tension between Colton and Rylee scorched the pages, but its not as simple as that! They both come with baggage, Rylee with a tragedy and Colton with demoms from his past.

I didn't realise this was her debut and what a debut!! Wow! Anyway, without giving anything away, its fun, angsty has a terrible cliffhanger, so now onto #2 to see what happens.
