I really enjoyed the story and the narration was good. Unfortunately the female narrators ability to take on other accents or make gender voices was lacking.

Mega fan of Lesley Jones books, but took me a while to listen to the audio book because of narrators and the accents really bad. Buts its a great story so got past that

This is the story of Max and Billie, and what a story it is! My first listen/read of a Lesley Jones book and I know that I've got to read her back catalogue. I loved this story. I need more. I was hoping to find Mackenzie's story but it looks like it hasn't been written/released yet. That's ok, good things are worth waiting for. Time to saṣ̌tart on the Carnage series.

The narration of this book was not great. Shaun Grindell was excellent with the East London/Essex accent for Max but was mediocre with others. Rachael Beresford absolutely mangled the American and Scottish like allowed to be released in that state. I had to knock my rating down by one star overall like. I hate to be so critical and I think Rachael Beresford has a really sweet English voice, but she needs to work on her accents or just narrate RP English accent parts.

It's a good story and I certainly enjoyed it. That said, the female narrator was terrible. It was toneless, emotionless and so softly spoken that you expected her to read a children's fairy tale at any moment. The male voice was slightly better but not the best work from this narrator.

Narrators are great at selling the book and easy to listen to thou some accents will have you laughing .
Easy going story telling some flaws and having to think hmmm what did I miss here
But so wouldn't put this under BDSM as none of the life style is part of this book
