An Astra Militarum Audiobook

In the jungles of the Dolorosa Coil, a coalition of alien T'au and human deserters have waged war upon the Imperium for countless years.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

It's a typically weird and twisted tale from Peter Fehervari, with intriguing characters, a plot that will keep you guessing, and more mystery than you can shake a pulse rifle at.

THE STORY

Fresh Astra Militarum forces from the Arkhan Confederates are sent in to break the stalemate on Dolorosa Coil, and annihilate the xenos. But greater forces are at work, and the Confederates soon find themselves broken and scattered. As they fight a desperate guerrilla war, their only hope may lie in the hands of a disgraced commissar, hell-bent on revenge.

This book is good just get it. Fantastic atmosphere and characters alongside some xenos that aren't in a lot of 40k books such as the loxatl and vespids

Excellent characters, good level of hopelessness, action bits actually well written, beats the predictability of most 40k novels. Great horror story.

Good slow burn story with interesting characters and narrative. Great twists and turns throughout. I’ve enjoyed all of Peter Fehervari other works in his “Dark Coil” series and this fits in perfectly.

For me this is by far the best book by the author, I have read all his novels and short stories and admit to struggling with most of them, this is such a dark and melancholic tale it reflects the Warhammer universe perfectly
Superbly narrated as well

The Emperor Condemns!

Really enjoyed the depth of the characters and the clever story, although it had lots of action scenes there was also some more character development which is very lacking in many 40k books. also nice to see more of the tau and their allies.

a dark gritty thoughtful 40k book
