A Warhammer 40,000 Audiobook

Prince Yriel leads the eldar in defence of the fallen maiden world Dûriel. Will he keep the tyranid forces of Leviathan and Kraken from merging into one all-consuming hive fleet?

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

The eldar of Iyanden forge an uneasy alliance with the dark eldar to prevent two tyranid hive fleets from merging into a mega-fleet invasion. This is a fascinating insight into eldar culture and the tumultuous relationship between the craftworlds and Commorrites, alongside fantastic battles.

THE STORY

Long ago defiled by the Imperium of Man, the eldar maiden world of Dûriel was once a glittering jewel in the crown of the Valedor System. As the tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan sweep through the sector consuming everything in their path, wayward Prince Yriel of Iyanden discovers that the farseers have inadvertently brought a greater threat to bear – a fragment of Hive Fleet Kraken, hurled into the warp to save the craftworld, has returned. The tyranid fleets cannot be allowed to combine, or their genetic legacies will merge into something even more terrible. Alongside allied forces from Craftworld Biel-Tan and even the dark eldar of Commorragh, Yriel has no choice but to fight on to the bitter end…

Wow, this book is great if you like the Eldar, but it has implications for the whole setting and I cannot wait fot more. The books title is a bit strange as its not really about the named character, but he is in it and it does tell part of his story. But m, without spoiling it. The story is much bigger than I expected it to be. like so much more. If you love the lore of the setting then get this, there is so much here. The audiobook is well performed and produced. The story is great. Dam I can not wait for a follow up. ,

The best Eldar book that shakes the 40k verse to its core.

Good story that kept me engaged throughout, not something that can be said for all GW books. Performance marked down slightly as it’s clear there was less investment compared to other GW books.

Great to have an Aeldari story covering so many aspects of their lore, please GW write some more.

My knowledge on 40k lore has been scavenged from countless videos, codexes and periods of my life spent dipping in and out of the hobby. For me, this was wonderfully well read and very easy to jump into. Great character moments.

Great

I'm so glad to finally have a good eldar/corsairs book. I really like how you get to know these aliens a little bit better through this book.
