Si todos los pueblos tienen leyendas, cuentos e historias, México es prolija en ello, por su enorme cultura y tradición. Algunas muy antiguas, desde mucho antes de que vinieran los conquistadores hispanos. Historias de nuestras costumbres indígenas y de la formación de nuestras ciudades. James “Cool Papa” Bell (1903-1991) was a legend in Black baseball, a lightning-fast switch hitter elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. Bell’s speed was extraordinary; as Satchel Paige famously quipped, he was so fast he could flip a light switch and be in bed before the room got dark. The Maya calculated the precession of the equinoxes and cycles of the Pleiades, on which they based their year, since they believed they had come from that constellation.
