When a group of hikers trying to descend Sandthrax Canyon in southern Utah experience a series of unusual earthquakes, they have no idea their journey will lead them around the globe as they track down the origin and purpose of these geological anomalies. What they discover, unless they can stop it, will alter the face of the entire world forever.
