The Resurrection Stories

When Saltair and Krenik decide they need to start collecting more resources than the wider galaxy can now provide, they decide to head to the one place that nobody goes. The Sol System. In 2151, Earth was destroyed by a group of renegades known only as 'The Decimators'. Since then, multiple planets have died and crumbled, and gravimetric disturbances are off the scale. However, the area is rich in minerals. Enough to make the pair take early retirement.

Acting on a recommendation from a former business associate, Saltair and Krenik travel to the Iguazu System. The deal promises to be one of their most lucrative yet. But upon their arrival, they find Outpost 47 completely deserted. Despite Krenik's reluctance, the pair land their ship on the moon's surface and begin exploring. There are no signs of struggle or death, and no bodies lie anywhere.

The Decimators have succeeded. Everything in the galaxy is either dead or dying. All hope destroyed. That is until a reality-wandering Syl'Va discovers that these events were never meant to happen. Interference from a supernatural creature altered the course of history, and the only way to save the future is to repair the past. The final story in the Resurrection arc brings the tale full circle and sets up the beginning of the end for the Dark Corner Series.
