Loch Ness holds secrets, ancient and deadly. Does a monster inhabit its depths, or is it just myth? Now, marine biologist Zachary Wallace and two other scientists aboard a submersible tethered to a laser will journey 13,000 feet beneath the ice into this unexplored realm to discover Mesozoic life-forms long believed extinct - and an object of immense power responsible for the evolution of modern man.

Having slain the creature terrorizing the loch, Zachary Wallace quickly goes from hero to villain as he is blamed for destroying the tourism industry in the Scottish Highlands. While his conniving father, Angus, explores a “genetic” solution to reboot the legend of Loch Ness, Zach and his friend True fly to China to represent Team Scotland in an international science competition to track down a new species inhabiting Heaven’s Lake.
