The Grim Awakening

Thirteen-year-old Ian Grim has always lived under a cloud of whispers and suspicion—a perpetual outsider, marked by a darkness within he doesn’t understand. Ian Grim is enjoying life with mastery over his spirit powers, friends at school, and a brand new driver’s license. All is going well until he receives a surprising invitation to partake in the Triskelion Trial—a set of challenges to test potential Ridirean Anam. Most troubling of all is his unexpected confrontation with the Reaper. What evil purpose drove the Reaper to urge Ian toward the mantle of Anam Ridire?
