The Demon Gate Series

Officer Brian Cordero didn't expect his life to be flipped upside down the day Raphael Ledeo sped past his patrol car in an Aston Martin. It was supposed to be a routine patrol stop, but the moment their fingers touched, his fate was sealed. He'd been chosen as Raphael's mate, unbeknownst to him. Now human no longer after he and Raphael bond, Brian has to figure out how to navigate life as a powerful demon. And that's just the beginning of his troubles. He discovers that there are eight gates to hell, and one of them - the worst one - is open.

I'm a cop with the Alandale City police force. I love my job; protecting the public and getting rid of scum was what made my day. Everything was going just fine until my lunch was interrupted by some rich, arrogant jerk in an Aston Martin who thought he could just speed past my squad car and get away with it. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I wrote Mr. Ledéo his speeding ticket, but after what happened to me, I wish I had just let him go. Maybe then, my world wouldn't have been turned upside down.

Having been approached by some secret organization that polices the demon world, I'm now left with the choice of if I want to join them or not. My entire world has been flipped upside down. I used to just be Brian Cordero, sexy-as-hell cop with a body as masculine as my machismo. Life was great! Then, a month ago I met Raphael. The things he did to me changed me forever in more ways than one. Now, I'm an Agoto demon, a soul eater and apparently that's top tier in the demon world.

Having located a mutilated corpse of a young man in a dumpster, I realize how serious the demon problem is. The markings on the body are the same as the markings on the other dead bodies that I was told about. That means one thing: I have to check out this club and the sooner the better. If that doesn't keep my plate full, I still have to deal with demon bad boy King Adriel and Raphael, my pain-in-the-butt mate, both want to control my life, or rather sex life, at least. First things first, find out who's killing people in my city.

I just woke up from one hell of a night. My body was still tingling all over from the mind-blowing experience of what I went through. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to reflect on that, or even bask in it. I had to attend a demonic shindig and bring an innocent human along with me, most likely for a human sacrifice if what Agent Smith from the Society has told me is true. The problem I'm having is finding a human to bring to the slaughter.

Several months have past since Brian Cordero became a demon, and he still hasn't completely gotten used to his feelings for his mate, Raphael. The older and sexy demon is in his is life regardless if he wants him to be or not. It doesn't help the fact that it's getting harder and harder for Brian to resist Raphael's charm and the pleasure he gives him in bed. if having one sexy-beyond-reality demon after him isn't enough, Brian now has the king of the Eight-level demon world.

My morning started very eventful. A rendezvous with Adriel is more than a notion. He literally wore me out, but he also made me come to terms with a lot about myself I was still trying to deny. Truth is, I wanted Raphael - powerfully so. However, I wasn't so sure about how much of that was my own desires and what part the Agoto inside me was playing in my attraction. In reality, I don't think it mattered.

I've had one successful mission that I managed to complete by the skin of my...well, let's just say that I wouldn't have been able to do it without Raphael's help. He's become a huge part of my life now and after learning even more about myself and what my role is in our relationship, let's just say that I think I'm adjusting rather well, considering the circumstances. On top of my personal issues - and I have plenty - the Society has tasked me with another mission.

You'd think a demon could take a break after stopping a hell portal from opening and an assassin from killing innocents, but fate has something else planned for Brian and Raphael. There is no rest for the wicked. And speaking of wicked, the more Brian learn about his demonic inhabitant, the more grateful he is that he'd been chosen. When a new threat emerges, Brian and Raphael have to pull out all the stops to prevent their king's evil brother, Katashniel, from breaking through the eighth gate and bringing his hellish army with him.

My failure to prevent a particularly nasty demon from completing a ritual to open a portal may have doomed us all unless I can stop what came through. That, of course, is easier said than done. Because what came through happens to be one of the most sadistic and dangerous demons that the eighth level of hell could spit out. I may be a powerful soul-eating demon, but even I don't think that I'm a match for this demon. I know one thing, I'm going to need help.

I think I'm seriously in over my head at this point. First off, we're nowhere close to finding Xora, the hell demon that's killing more people than the morgue has room for. On top of that, I've found my other mate. Yeah, as if getting used to one, or make that at least three men who've been in my bed isn't enough. Now, I have another permanent one, worst yet; he's my partner's older brother, and they don't have secrets. I'm going to have to come clean and keep my game tight all while trying to save the world from a demon takeover. Good times...good times.

With less than 72 hours on the clock and Xora still evading King Adriel's forces, time is running out for everyone. I don't want to think about a world overrun by demons who could care less about saving humanity. I'm doing everything in my power to track this evil thing down, but I'm not having much luck. I only hope others are having better luck than I am. On top of all that, my two mates are still adjusting to the fact that they have to share me. It's like watching two rams...well...ram the hell out of each other during mating season.
