Jimmy Cooper, former child star, recovering addict, and private eye, has gone from hero back down to zero. After a case ended badly and publicly, no one wants anything to do with Jimmy, most of all himself. Then someone from his past comes knocking on his door asking for help. Anton Greene is a young man in trouble. Needing some easy cash, he agreed to be a driver in a robbery that goes wrong, leaving a friend dead and a priceless statue in the wind. He turns to Jimmy hoping there’s something he can do to get him out of trouble and get justice for his murdered mentor.
