JR Norman is an unconventional man on an extraordinary journey to uncover the forces shaping our world. The story begins with JR Norman—who he is, what shaped him, and why he became obsessed with understanding the world. As he tries to make sense of his experience, he discovers a pattern: there are two forces at work in the world:

THE REAL is everything that is good, true, and right. It is reality as it actually is—not merely as we perceive it. This is what we expect, or at least hope, the world should be like.

But there is another force at work in our lives that pushes back against THE REAL—it distorts and distracts us from reality. He simply calls this THE FORCE. THE FORCE includes everything that is almost true, everything that feels good without actually being good, and everything that pulls us away from reality. It appears in deception, pride, hypocrisy, greed, and countless everyday distortions that quietly shape how we see ourselves and the world. But THE FORCE also encompasses everything that should not be, including evil, violence, death, and darkness.

JR Norman is not a preacher, teacher, or philosopher. He is a seeker. He is not trying to change the world; he simply wants to figure it out and do better. Some ideas are intentionally provocative—not because JR wants to shock anyone, but because tough questions often reveal assumptions we didn’t know we had. But when you step back and see the bigger picture, you begin to understand that the truth matters. In fact, the truth may be the only thing that does matter—because everything that is not true is nothing but a grand illusion.
