Badass In Bahamas

Haunted by her past, an ex-police officer from Norway is desperate for a fresh start. She impulsively responds to a personal ad and finds herself on a flight to The Bahamas, searching for the man behind the ad. Upon arriving in Nassau, she meets a charming Canadian and his young son. But her trip takes a terrifying turn when she is drugged by a Russian man. In her weakened state, she is visited by a female hologram pirate who offers moral support.

Norwegian ex-police officer Anne Bonnevie stumbles upon a photo of her long-lost twin sister who was snatched as a child on a family vacation. The sister now seems to live a luxurious life on Guana Cay in The Bahamas with a famous movie star. Desperate for answers and needing to support herself financially, Anne takes a job at a posh development on the island, leaving behind the man she has grown to care for and his son in Nassau. But her new boss turns out to be a dangerous criminal with numerous illegal operations.

When Norwegian ex-police officer Anne Bonnevie is released from prison in The Bahamas, she fights the urge to return to Guana Cay to seek revenge on her former boss who framed her. But when her friend is kidnapped, Anne and her friend Sylvia follow the trail and end up on Guana Cay anyway. Their neighbor Dana disappears on a fishing charter. Anne suspects something sinister is afoot when it turns out that several wives have gone missing in Caribbean waters. As she investigates further, she finds that the owner of the fishing yacht from which these women went missing is her former boss.
