A Western crime thriller about a framed veteran and a deadly hometown secret

An innocent man doesn’t run. He fights.

After two combat tours in Afghanistan, Adam Cash returns to small-town Pinyon, Texas, hoping for peace and a steady job as deputy sheriff. But his high school nemesis, Sheriff Griff Turner, has other plans and makes it clear Cash isn’t welcome.

Still haunted by war—and by the heartbreak of walking away from his high school sweetheart, Edie—Cash launches a longshot campaign to unseat Turner and loses. When Turner turns up dead the next day, all signs point to Cash.

Now on the run and desperate to clear his name, Cash uncovers a conspiracy far more dangerous than he imagined—one that could destroy countless lives. To stop it, he will have to risk everything, including the one chance he has left with Edie.
