“What took you so long, my Angel?” As a scared child, amidst screams and gunpowder, I looked into the eyes of the devil. “Ojos abiertos, boca cerrada.” Finger lifted to his lips, he quelled my tears when he saw me. “Hush, little bird… Eyes open, mouth shut.” He let me live. But you see, El Diablo is not stupid. He knew one day I would come for my revenge. For years, I’ve been trapped in the cage of a stolen existence, dreaming of one thing, above all else… Sangre por sangre. Blood for blood.

Colm has suddenly found himself the leader of the local branch of the Banna Irish Mafia. He likes the power, but he never really fit in with the other killers and criminals. His inherent ethics and empathy have made him feel separate, and he was resigned to living a lonely, isolated life, for better or worse. Enter Fallow: a true serial killer with a bucketload of issues, but also a raw sexual magnetism that Colm can't afford. Fallow is on a quest to find someone he lost, and when the opportunity presents, he decides to take Colm along for the ride.
