When a young woman's body shows up in the small town of Helena, Louisiana, a local reptile consultant, Brenda Gray, is brought in to examine the case. Elsewhere, ten former college friends plan a long overdue reunion at their friend's luxurious island lake house, expecting the party of a lifetime. Their night is interrupted when a mysterious creature appears and begins hunting them down, one by one. As they are cut off from help, Brenda struggles to piece together the deadly truth, racing to save the trapped islanders from the savage monster lurking among them.

Bugged! begins at a college reunion in a moldering mansion in the midst of an isolated swamp. Howard Banks, accompanied by his daughter Karen, is looking forward to seeing his old college chums when his car stops dead. After he gets out to see what the trouble is, hundreds of insects swarm over him and strip the flesh from his bones. Ronald Reid, owner of the mansion, begins to grow concerned for the Banks when hours pass and they fail to arrive, so he sends his butler to look for them.

Before being dumped, a shadowy organization called “Singularity” implanted an alien parasite in him which is now devouring him from the inside out. In searching for Singularity, he inadvertently alerts them to his condition — he didn’t die like he was supposed to — and now Singularity wants him back. At all costs.

With the zombies dealt with and the terrible NaRti plague taken care of, and the girls training complete. The council has decided to award the team with a special dinner and award ceremony, and of course, the dinner will be catered by none other than club RATEOTU.
