It is basically written the way it is pronounced, and pronunciation varies, depending on where in Jamaica you are from, or live. So this is my version of it. As a young child, I always enjoyed the magic, the wonder, and rhythmic storytelling of nursery rhymes, from around the world. Now as an adult, some of those memorized verses, can be interpreted differently than I remember, however, I cannot help but be transported back to a time of childhood innocence, whenever they come to mind.
