When the downtrodden animals of Manor Farm overthrow their master Mr Jones and take over the farm themselves, they imagine it is the beginning of a life of freedom and equality. But gradually a cunning, ruthless elite among them, masterminded by the pigs Napoleon and Snowball, starts to take control. Soon the other animals discover that they are not all as equal as they thought and find themselves hopelessly ensnared as one form of tyranny is replaced with another.

Five thousand years ago, there came to earth a magical being called Krishna, who brought about innumerable miracles for the good of mankind. Humanity despaired of its fate if the Blue God were to die but was reassured that he would return in a fresh avatar when needed in the eventual Dark Age - the Kaliyug. In modern times, a poor little rich boy grows up believing that he is that final avatar. Only, he is a serial killer.

मराठी चित्रपटांवर अधिराज्य गाजवणारे दादा कोंडके यांची हे चरित्र आहे. प्रख्यात विनोदी अभिनेते एवढीच त्यांची ओळख नाही. गीतं, संवाद, लेखनं यशस्वी चित्रपट निर्माता, दिग्दर्शक, आणि एक उत्तम माणूस अशी त्यांची ओळख आहे. त्यांचं व्यक्तिमत्व प्रगल्भ, बहुआयामी होतं, पडद्यावरचं त्यांचं आयुष्य अनेकांनी अनेक वेळा पाहिलं असेल, पण दादा पडद्यामागे कसे होते. याची ओळख लेखिका अनिता पाध्ये यांनी करून दिली आहे.

१९४८ च्या गांधी हत्येनंतर देशात जे दंगे झाले त्यात ज्यांचा संबंध हि नाही अशी अनेक कुटुंबे होरपळली गेली नंतर घरांची डागडुजीही झाली पण आपलाच शेजारी आपला घात करील याची कल्पना हि नसलेल्या मानसिकतेचे वर्णन "वावटळ" मध्ये केले आहे.
