Whether you’re starting over, chasing a long-delayed dream, or redefining success after fifty, this book reminds you that it’s never too late for a new take. Your next scene is waiting—step into it with courage, clarity, and conviction.

In this book, Dr. Davis discusses how leaders experience many failures over their careers and create false narratives about themselves. Because of this narrative that has been formed on the inside, it becomes very difficult for leaders to create and maintain a positive school or office climate. Through personal reflections and concrete examples from his 32 years in public education, Dr. Davis shares his research on 15 leadership characteristics that promote psychological safety in the workplace.
