John G. Lake was a man known for his nation changing ministry of healing. While there are many volumes that have been written about this great man of God, there has never been one like this!

So many powerful books have been written on topics like prayer, faith, love, how to study your Bible, a myriad of biographies and character studies, among countless other topics, but the study of topics like meekness and quietness is virtually unheard of. And yet, these are incredibly important in our Christian walk, especially in this day where we are constantly bombarded with the world promoting the exact opposite of those things. We are constantly distracted, and quick fame with fortune has become the ultimate goal in life for the majority of people today.

Some being so small and contained to a specific area that they have never found their way into the history books, like that of an unreached tribe deep in the jungles of Brazil reached by a small team of missionary students, to the mighty rushing winds recorded in rural churches of Alaska. But very rarely do revivals come with such a fiery spreading and global impact as the Azusa Street Revival, which took place from 1906 to 1908.

In his autobiography, Charles Finney goes into great detail about his ministry and the many revivals he spearheaded. He gives incredibly valuable details about how he operated in those revivals, the strategies he used to bring them about, his response to the constant controversies surrounding him, and much more. This book is, without a doubt, one of the greatest treasures in church history.
