Understanding that your empathy is a super power is the first step to changing your life. As an empath you take on the weight of the world, and sometimes you don't feel like you can bear it. Affirmations can be the best tool empaths have in order to bring peace, order, and joy back into one's life. They can be used to break you out of negative recurring thought patterns and also protect you from negative energy. Being able to use words to shift energy is something that comes easier to an empath--usually it's other people's words.

Being able to prevail over obstacles and opponents gives you a boost in confidence that carries over to your school and personal life, improving your performance in those areas as well. Unfortunately, you can’t win all the time. Sometimes, you have a bad day, or you simply get outplayed, and you end up doubting yourself and your athletic abilities. These feelings of worry, uncertainty, fear, doubt, or anxiety will make it difficult for you to perform consistently well. But with time, some effort, and the right knowledge, you can take control of your confidence.
