After a long, cold, and snowy winter it looks as though spring may be arriving early in North Harbor. Sarah Grayson is busy at her store, Second Chance, and she's looking forward to an afternoon break from the hustle and bustle, tagging along to an open house with her friend, Detective Michelle Andrews. But it turns out the house has a haunted history, and when a ghost hunter is found dead on the premises, Sarah knows the best way to arrive at a solution is by looking into the not-so-dearly departed.

When Clint Marlow's partner in crime is found murdered in the basement of Marlow House, Clint is the likely suspect. The only problem: Clint is dead. But that doesn't matter to the FBI agents investigating the case. Clint looks alive to them.

Summer is around the corner and Sarah is making sure the store is stocked and ready for tourist season. But while the weather's heating up, Sarah gets involved in a case that is decidedly cold, when a man who was linked to a drowning death years ago is found dead himself, on the same stretch of beach. Some of Sarah's friends from the store knew the victim—and the young woman who drowned—very well and are concerned they could be dragged into the case.

Kathleen Paulson has her hands full in Mayville Heights, Minnesota, running the public library and taking care of her two uncanny cats, Hercules and Owen. Kathleen's good friend Maggie says items are being stolen from the local artists' co-op. She doesn't want to call the police, because the main suspects are all close friends. Luckily, Kathleen and her faithful felines are there to put their paws on the truth!

After Love or Money made them reality TV stars, former cop Georgia Thornton and her new boyfriend Scott were supposed to live happily ever after. Unfortunately as their 15 minutes of fame came to an end, actual reality kicked in and their prize money quickly evaporated. So Georgia and Scott agree to appear in a new program, pitting them against other teams in an athletic journey across the countryside of Spain for a chance to win $250,000.
