Published in 1797, the Critique of Pure Reason is considered to be one of the foremost philosophical works ever written. In the Critique of Pure Reason, Immanuel Kant explores the foundation of human knowledge and its limits, as well as man's ability to engage in metaphysics.

Samen hebben zij in de nacht van de Watersnoodramp weten te voorkomen dat Zuid-Holland tot Leiden aan toe onder water zou komen te staan.

Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) ist bis heute einer bedeutendsten Philosophen. Eine seiner bekanntesten Schriften ist, neben den großen Kritiken, sein spätes Werk Zum ewigen Frieden. Ein philosophischer Entwurf (1795).
