They then become the last stand for freedom. The Republic of Texas is a picture of what a Christian country would look like. It is an explanation of capitalism wrapped in a futuristic fantasy with a love story mixed into an exciting world war. The story is an affirmation of the Christian lifestyle as well as how capitalism is the most free form of self-determination.
